Supreme Court eCommittee Announces National Conference on Digital Transformation

Advancing the eCourts Phase III Framework

A press note released by the Supreme Court registry confirmed that the eCommittee, in collaboration with the Government of India's Department of Justice, will host a National Conference on 'Judicial Process Re-Engineering & Digital Transformation' on April 11 and 12, 2026. The event marks a massive leap in the modernization of the Indian judicial system.

The Chief Justice of India will deliver the inaugural address. The conference aims to evaluate the past successes of the eCourts project and roll out critical new infrastructure under Phase III. Key launches scheduled during the event include the eCourts Single Sign-On (SSO) Service Portal, a standardized system for the electronic delivery of summons via email, and the seamless integration of eCourts with the ePrison database.

Furthermore, the event will see the release of the eCourts Services Mobile App Version 4.0. The gathering of High Court Chief Justices, IT Committees, and Central Project Coordinators signifies a unified national push towards paperless, highly transparent, and accessible digital courts.
